2 weeks ago was Jonathan's last week in the company. So on the last day itself, we took many photos DURING office hours. Hahaha. Our colleagues are flexible people, they don't mind :)


My face is (once again) the BIGGEST and most CHUBBY of all. Jonathan is mad skinny as a guy! Can someone recommend me effective diet plans? I really need to lose weight!!!!

But this ID photo was taken 3 months ago so now.... sigh, don't even want to mention how round my face has grown.

Met the girls on Wednesday night for my very belated birthday. It also marked the end to their exams!! That night called for more celebrations :)



Dinner was at Timbre @ Arts House. We waited extremely long for the food so there's a lot of photo taking!

Sat around in Grand Copthorne Hotel after getting our chops from Zouk. We were waiting for the rest of the girls to arrive but decided to head to Attica for drinks first!





















5 shots for me (Trying to drunk the birthday girl! What logic!! Haha), 3 shots each for G and Mel and 1 shot for Xinny. It was Xinny's FIRST EVER in a club. This is why I say that that night called for more celebrations :)




Ok, but I was down after 4 shots and I gave Xinny my last shot. She couldn't reject me and she's the MOST sober one of all.









When we were still in Attica, J told me he won't be able to meet us that night. It was already 10/11pm and he was still home so it'll be very hard for him to purchase tickets when he arrives. Zouk was mad crowded!




I swear Mel was drunk in the cab back to Zouk. Out of the blue she started telling us a joke about TELETUBBIES? WTF.

And they thought I was drunk when I starting pointing to someone outside the cab and went, "That's Jonas!! I see Jonas!!" They were like, "He's not coming la. Are you drunk?"


WL I'm not wrong in identifying my bf lor. I recognise the way he dresses and walks. Thankfully the drunk girl, Mel, believed me and being her crazy self, she started shouting his name when we alighted the cab. And J was embarrased that we were shouting his name out loud so he pretended not to know us and walked away damn fast Hahaha.





AND YES IT WAS HIM!! He surprised me Wooooots ^^

When there's you, there's me


Hello! I'm using the time in the office to update my blog because it's my only available time for this week!

So the day after the Sentosa tanning trip, we met up to catch 2012 and to work on his interim report at Coffee Bean.


I only stick to one drink at Coffee Bean and that's Pure Double Choc!! J said that this picture is to prove that I'm very greedy (size difference of our drinks) and I drink more than him, hahahaha.





Ok I know it sounds like we have no life by going out to work on his report but it's something we both enjoy doing. Just sitting down at a coffee place, chilling and talking over a drink and spending quality time together. Best things in life are kept simple :)









Ok I got to get back to work! Have to help a colleague send a parcel out to the mailroom!

They don't love you like I love you


Last Saturday, J and I headed to Sentosa for a good tan! It proved to be good because the sun was shining sooooo brightly.


We also found a quiet spot... Away from the crowd and noise.

Us after showering. Honestly, I wasn't EXTREMELY clean. The shower water was so budget!!! Omg it was such a pain to shower in there. I used wet ones to wipe myself clean.. proved to be much more useful.









Walked to have desserts before taking the monorail train back to VivoCity. As J aptly put, "To replenish energy before going out to hell (aka. fight the heat)" The sun was THAT strong!





Back in Vivo, we settled at Pacific Coffee to chillax (chill and relax) and also to complete J's interim report.





His eyes are growing smaller from staring at the screen. Hahaha.
I also helped him in his report until I went bonkers! And because I helped him so much (you cannot believe how much I've done), he's rewarding me! Wooots ^^




My fetish with Christmas trees again. But I like this photo I took. I like how the colours go with each other.






P.S. Did you realise that J looks much younger? He shaved away his goatee!!! This is something NEW to me because for the 2 years plus we've been together, I've never seen him without it! Ha.


P.P.S. My photos are bigger than usual in this entry. Should I keep it this way or go back to the smaller sized photos? Opinions please!!

P.S. Really wanted to blog a long entry but J and I had an impromptu dinner date and I only got home at 11.40pm! Will do so tomorrow :) Still have a gazillion photos in my camera...

Adulthood


Oops! Forgot to add these pictures to my previous entry.

Right after IBM Family Day 2009. Mum, J and I headed down to downtown east for Ivan's 21st birthday.

Ivan's the son of my mum's very good friend. Our families have been going out together, went on overseas trips together and etc since we were young! When I say young, I mean in primary school... ever since I came to Singapore at 7 years old.

But as we went in to scondary school, all these stopped.



His sister made him wear a mickey mouse hat because he likes mickey mouse!

IBM Family Day 2009


Just before heading to IBM's Family Day @ Pasir Ris Park, we had lunch at White Sands Mall.

The sky was so clear and blue that day. But the ground was extremely muddy from the rain the previous night and I was wearing pumps!!! :C

The games were all..... healthy games? You really need to know your nutrition in order to play and score.

Kieran was so involved in the Wii games. He wanted to participate in the Wii competition but I've no idea why he didn't in the end. He even practiced Wii at home just for this day!!

I didn't take anymore photos from then onwards cause it began to pour! Very sad :C

J came to join after soccer and together with my mum, the 3 of us took off our footwear and walked around barefoot. Too muddy!! My pumps (thankfully it's black) was stained with mud!! Gross x 1000. Had a difficult time washing it!

J and I even got 2 airbrush tattoos each! But I scrubbed them off after the 3rd day. Hahaha. Reason being: Felt unsuitable for work. Yeah I know I'm an IBM-er and these airbrush tattoos are from their Family Day, but it just didn't feel right having an exposed tattoo at work.

Company Event 4

This is the fourth event that I've been assisting with and I swear that these events make my work life so much more interesting! It beats sitting down at my desk, in front of the thinkpad with a cup of water/milo/tea and going through the same routined tasks every day every week.


This event (was a day after my birthday and caused me soooooo much trouble!!) was held on 19th November 2009 @ Verve Bar and Bistro.












It's an extremely nice place with a beautiful surrounding and the interior of it is even prettier! I'm soooo going back there with my girlfriends and J again! Maybe for Christmas! (Heard me girls/J? :D)




We arrived at about 5.30pm and it was pouring :C The weather affected the turn out rate but as it progressed into the night, more and more registrants turned up :)
















Presenting to you, my MOST favourite part of Verve - The Wine Closet/Room. I wanted to type Wine Cellar but I realised it's not maintained by a climate control system (as far as I think) so I'll name it The Wine Closet. It's superrr cool I tell you. My photos don't do justice. Much more prettier in reality!!

Open Up My Soul


This entry will be on my birthday dinner date with J on 18 November 2009.

We both had to work on the day itself. I couldn't take leave (No such thing as leave for interns!) and I also had an event the very next day so there were a lot of things to be settled. J had already taken leave on 19th November for his NAPFA so he couldn't take another day off.

But it was alright! Make do with what we have at present :)

We met up straight after work and he brought me to Saizeriya. It's an Italian-Japanese restaurant with very pocket friendly prices!! So if you want to have italian or japanese food and don't wish to spend a lot at fine dining restaurants, this is the place to go!! J is very good at doing this - Searching for great food at great prices.

I was very hungry. This is me impatiently waiting for food. I kept looking back at the waiters/waitresses and hope that they're bringing out our dishes to serve us!!

J's risotto doesn't look as good as in photos so I won't be posting it up here. You can go try it! After dining here and hearing from me, Weenee and a colleague, Jennifer made arrangements to head to this place. I hope they had a good dining experience :)


So after a very happy and filling dinner, we strolled down to Central and spent the night chatting and enjoying each other's company. But before that, we took photos with another lovely Christmas tree! I think I have a thing for Christmas trees. I must must must take a photo of it or with it. Hahaha.








That's my umbrella! Hee. It was raining when I left the office.




When you wear a babydoll dress + after a very filling dinner, your dress is more POOF-Y than usual. Made me look pregnant-ish :C










J bought me the chain bag which I really loved from Charles and Keith and a perfume bottle from Gap. MAJOR LOVES!!!
